The 16th “Arts Square” International Winter Festival will open in St.Petersburg on December 13, 2016. The Festival is devoted to the anniversaries of Tchaikovsky, Sibelius and Sviridov.

Today the famous Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow opened an exhibition of Valentin Serov (1865-1911), devoted to the 150th anniversary of his birth. Serov is considered to be one of the founders of Art Nouveau in Russia at the turn of the 20th century. The paintings in the exhibition come from eighteen Russian and five foreign art museums aas well as from private collections.

Day1: July 3/17, Sunday
Upon arrival in Moscow you will be met by your guide and transferred to the hotel for overnight and dinner
Day 2: July 4/18, Monday
After breakfast in the hotel you will have the city tour during which you will see Tverskaya Street, the main street of Moscow, panoramic views of the Kremlin, New Maidens’ Convent, Moscow University on Sparrow Hills and other famous sights. In the afternoon you will visit the Kremlin where you will see the Cathedral Square, Bell tower of Ivan the Great, Tsar Cannon and Tsar Bell and visit one of the Kremlin cathedrals. Tonight you will have traditional Russian dinner in the Boris Godunov restaurant.
Moscow St-Basils
Day 3: July 5/19, Tuesday
After breakfast in the hotel you will be taken to the heart of Moscow for a walk across Red Square where you will see Lenin’s Mausoleum, St. Basil’s cathedral, the History Museum and visit the GUM department store. In the afternoon you will have time to walk the famous pedestrian Arbat Street followed by the tour of Moscow metro. This evening you will give a concert in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cathedral. After dinner in Ilja Glazunov Gallery restaurant you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight.
Day 4: July 6/20, Wednesday
After breakfast in the hotel you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Sochi

After breakfast in the hotel you will have the city tour of St.Petersburg during which you will see Nevsky Prospect, the main street, Isaac’s square with St.Isaac’s Cathedral, Bronze Horseman, the Spit of Basil’s Island and other famous sights in the afternoon you will go to the suburban town of Peterhof where you will visit the Grand palace and Lower park with its 150 fountains. This day you will have dinner in the hotel upon return form Peterhof.

After breakfast in the hotel you will have the guided tour of the Hermitage Museum where you will see the reception quarters of the Winter Palace and the highlights of Western European art collection. This night you will give a concert in St. Peter’s Lutheran Cathedral followed by dinner in the St.Petersburg restaurant

After breakfast in the hotel you will be transferred to the airport.

COLORADO CHILDREN’S CHORALE TO PERFORM IN THE TOWN OF PUSHKIN
On April 29 at 7 pm the Colorado Children’s Chorale (USA) under the baton of Deborah DeSantis will perform in Pushkinsky Cultural Centre (Pushkin, Naberezhnaya St., 14). The concert programme will include classical, folk and contemporary music.
Free entrance.

During their concert tour to Europe and Russia Colorado Children’s Chorale (USA) will perform in St.Petersburg in St.Peter’s Lutheran Church (Nevsky Pr., 22-24). The concert programme will include classical, folk and contemporary music.
The concert will take place on April 30 at 7:00 pm. Free entrance.
