The opening of the exhibition devoted to the history of Russian Alphabet and Russian Alphabet Books  opens in the State Hermitage Museum on September 4 at the beginning of the new school year.

On July 30, 2019 Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra performed in the proclaimed Capella Hall in St.Petersburg. The audience heartily welcomed Dr. Yip Wai-hong, Founder & Music Director of the orchestra, and the orchestra received a standing ovation.

On July 27, 2019 Hong Kong Children’s Symphony Orchestra performed in the Moscow Composers’ Club as part of their European concert tour. Under the baton of Maestro Jeff Leung the orchestra performed a diverse programme of European music.

On July 6, 2019 Golden State Youth Symphony from California performed in the Grand Hall of the Moscow Tschaikovsky Conservatory. It was the final concert of their concert tour of Sweden, Finland and Russia.

On July 3, 2019 Golden State Youth Symphony from California performed in the Shostakovich Grand Hall of the St.Petersburg Philharmonia as part of their concert tour of Russia and Scandinavia. The concert programme included works by Russian and American composers: Rachmaninoff, Rimsky-Korsakov, Copland and Gershwin.

Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra gave their only concert in Russia in the proclaimed Capella hall in St.Petersburg on June 28, 2019. Under the baton of Allen Tinkham they performed music by Walker, Respigi, Sibelius and Stravinsky.

On May 31 we organised a choral concert in Moscow House of Composers. Moscow International Choir and Concert Choir of Russian Investigation Committee Academy took part in the concert performing Bortnyansky, Tchaikovsky, Stark, Shainsky, and Kolmanovsky to a full house.

On May 28, 2019 Marina Väisä will give an organ recital in St.Nicholas Church in Gatchina with the programme including works by Tschaikovsky, Bach, Stamm, Rimsky-Korsakov.

Marina is the principal organist of St.Mary’s Lutheran Church in St.Petersburg and she also teaches at  the Organ and Harpsichord Department of St. Petersburg Conservatory.

Harmony Youth Choir from Gatchina performed in St.Mary’s Church on May 27, 2019. The repertoire included works by Chesnokov, Miškinis, Krylov, Poulenc, Taneev, Jančevskis and other composers.
