Russian language program in St. Petersburg

There is no better place to learn Russian than in Russia! Learning the language is inseparable from learning the culture, and there is no better place to do it than in St.Petersburg, the cultural capital of Russia.

Upon arrival in St.Petersburg your guide will meet you and transfer you to a centrally located B&B hotel, assist you with check in and take you on orientation tour in the area near the hotel for you to get familiarized with local shops and services, cafes and restaurants, etc. In the evening you will have welcome dinner in a local restaurant where you will try traditional Russian food. In the morning of the following day you will meet your teachers, take a Russian language test and then will be subdivided into groups (elementary, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced). Every classroom day you will have two classes of grammar and two classes of conversation.

On weekdays after classes you will have half-day tours, such as:

• Log Cabin of Peter the Great, the fist house of the city, and Peter and Paul Fortress, the birthplace of the city, including a tour of St.Peter and Paul’s Cathedral, the burial place of all Russian Emperors.

• Cathedral tour with visits to St. Isaac’s Cathedral, Church on Spilled Blood and St. Nicholas Naval Cathedral

• Day trip to Pushkin (formerly Tsarskoe Selo) with tours of Catherine’s Palace, Alexander Palace and the Lyceum.

• Day trip to Pavlovsk and Gatchina with tours of Royal Palaces in both towns.
