Insider’s St. Petersburg in 3 days

INSIDER’S ST.PETERSBURG IN 3 DAYS tour is designed for those who want to combine an opportunity to get an insight into the history of the Imperial capital of Russia and feel the exciting atmosphere of contemporary St.Petersburg. This well-balanced program includes panoramic city tour, visits to the Hermitage and the Winter Palace, Catherine’s Palace with the Amber Room and the Romanovs family church in Tsarskoe Selo.

 DAY 1

Bronze Horseman

Upon arrival in St.Petersburg you will have the guided sightseeing tour during which you will see such highlights as Nevsky Prospect, the main street of the city, the Square of Fine Arts, St.Isaac’s Cathedral, the fourth largest domed cathedral in the world, Palace Square, Peter and Paul Fortress and the panoramic views of the Neva river. The tour will end at the hotel of your choice.

 DAY 2

Hermitage

In the morning you will have a guided tour of the Hermitage, one of the world’s largest art museums, possessing over 3 million exhibits. During the tour you will see the lavishly-decorated reception quarters of the Winter Palace, the highlights of the Old Masters’ Collection (Leonardo da Vinci, Rafael, Rembrandt) and Impressionists’ and Post-Impressionists’ collection. You will have this afternoon at leisure to explore the city on your own.

 DAY 3

Catherine’s Palace

Fyodorovsky Cathedral

After breakfast you will drive to Tsarskoe Selo where you will have a guided tour of Catherine’s Palace, the largest summer palace of the Russian Royal family, famous for the splendor of its Baroque interiors, including the Gold Rooms and the unique Amber Room, the 8th wonder of the world. After that you will visit Feodorovsky Cathedral, an active Russian Orthodox church, built on the occasion of the 300th anniversary of the Romanovs dynasty on the Russian throne. At the end of the tour you will be transferred to airport/train station/sea terminal.
