Day 1 Monday MOSCOW – ST PETERSBURG
Saint Petersburg. Russia. Saint Isaac’s Cathedral. View of the Winter Palace. St. Petersburg from the Neva River. Museums of Russia. Architecture of Petersburg.
Today you arrive in Moscow and take a local flight to St. Petersburg. Upon arrival in St. Petersburg, you will be transferred to an Indian restaurant for lunch. After lunch you will have a guided city sightseeing tour during which you will see Nevsky Prospect, the Square of Fine Arts, Peter and Paul Fortress, Isaac’s Square, and other famous sights. The tour will end at your hotel.
Day 2 Tuesday ST PETERSBURG
You will start this day with an excursion to Peterhof, the Russian Versailles, located on the coast of the Gulf of Finland, a former official royal summer residence, where you will have a guided tour the Grand Palace and the Lower Park, the elaborate grounds featuring over 150 fountains, among which you will see the breathtaking Great Cascade, the largest fountain ensemble in the world.
In the afternoon you will visit the Hermitage Museum, where you will see the Winter Palace, the former winter residence of the Russian Tsars with its magnificent reception rooms and the highlights of the Western European collection.
Day 3 Wednesday ST PETERSBURG
After breakfast you will go to Peter and Paul Fortress, the birthplace of the city, and visit St. Peter and Paul’s Cathedral, the burial place of all Russian Emperors from Peter the Great to Nicholas II. In the afternoon we will take you to the Galeria Shopping Mall.
Day 4 Thursday ST PETERSBURG – MOSCOW
Beautiful and Famous view of Moscow Kremlin Palace and Churches, Russia
This morning you will depart for Moscow by the Sapsan Express train. Upon arrival in Moscow, you will have lunch in an Indian restaurant. Then you will have a city tour, during which you will see Tverskaya Street, panoramic views of the Kremlin, observation platform on Sparrow Hills and other famous sights. The tour will end at your hotel.
Day 5 Friday MOSCOW
This morning you will be taken for a guided visit to the Kremlin, the heart of Moscow and the headquarters of the Russian President. You will see the Tsar Bell and Tsar Cannon and visit one of the Kremlin cathedrals. Then you will walk across Red Square, where you will see Lenin Mausoleum, St.Basil’s Cathedral and GUM department store. You will end this day by a tour of Moscow metro, world famous for its interior decoration.
Day 6 Saturday MOSCOW
After breakfast you will visit the Space Museum, where you will see the first artificial satellite, space dog safety module, space suits, Soyuz spaceship, Mir space station module, moon rover and many others. This day you will say good-bye to Russia and will be transferred to the airport. In the evening we will take you to the airport.
